Douglas Barrels’ Pro-Staff Shooters
For over 75 years, Douglas Barrels has been providing marksmen with the trusted accuracy they demand. Douglas Barrels is continuing its long history supporting competition shooters through our new Pro-Staff Shooter Program. As Pro-Staff members, our shooters will be representing Douglas Barrels in regional and national PRS, F-Class and ELR competitions across the country. Each member of the Pro-Staff team will be using a premium quality, custom, ultra-rifled Douglas barrel manufactured to the shooter’s specifications in Douglas Barrels’ Cross lanes, WV facility.
Douglas Barrels is proud to introduce our Pro-Staff Shooters and wish them all the best in the events they will be competing in during the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

John Armstrong
John has been shooting and hunting for over 55 years. John started shooting competitively with the Marines in the late 1960s. Over the years, and out of necessity, John took to long range shooting like a duck to water.
John co-set the first ever official Extreme Long Range Shooting world record, has over 60 top 5 finishes with several wins in state and regional level matches, and most recently was crowned Nevada BRPC King of Extreme Long Range Shooting. John has watched his sport change dramatically over the last 25 years with better equipment and technology becoming available almost daily but he believes the steadfast consistency, strict manufacturing processes and pride in craftsmanship inherent to Douglas Barrels is one thing that will never change and will always give him the competitive edge needed to get and stay on the podium.

Justin has been competing in NRL22 and PRS22 events for 4 years now. Shooting and traveling to matches with friends has taken him to 15 states. The past season was spent qualifying for team USA. In August the team will travel to Great Britain for the rimfire world championship. His favorite part of the sport is teaching and helping new shooters.
